The 9th ID does authentic period Army impressions for events and public displays all year long. We are as accurate as possible in every aspect of the hobby to get it right. Many of our members are history enthusiasts and have an extensive knowledge of the soldier. We will portray almost any impression from 1942 through 1945 with extreme attention to details. Our impressions range from garrison life, physical training, field uniforms, and all complete and necessary gear. We are living historians.
Our unit members all have experience in the field and in garrison with weapons, standard military drills, and soldier life. We own authentic military vehicles, including a field ambulance and weapons carrier. We also own and operate items such as a M2 60mm mortar, portable radios, anti-tank weapons, and machineguns. All of our items are what a standard infantry company would be familiar with. All weapons are blank-adapted and ready to go.
Members are typically available for any motion picture, documentary, or television show where you need authentic reenactors. We are also available for public displays or school related events. Not only does the 9th look good in uniform, we know what we are doing and get it right. We would be glad to assist in your production as technical advisors. Our boys are the real deal!
Several members of the 9th were featured in the latest music video "The Ghost of You" performed by My Chemical Romance. We have also participated in Toby Keith's music video "American Soldier". So when you need authentic reenactors for your next war picture, remember Easy 39th!
